• review of professional learning materials against the evidence base;

• math auditing and reviews for mathematical correctness;

• facilitation of professional learning for teachers and leaders;

• training and coaching for professional learning facilitators and content developers;

• thought partnership and strategic planning around professional learning services.

I support curriculum and assessment developers through:

• creation of high quality, standards-aligned lessons, and other curricular materials;

• editing and review of mathematics curriculum and assessment materials;

• math auditing and reviews for mathematical correctness;

• training and coaching for content developers and managers with a focus on equitable mathematics instruction;

• adapting content to serve remote/hybrid settings, as well as scaffolding for students with unfinished learning; 

• thought partnership and strategic planning around mathematics curriculum, assessment, and professional learning services.

I support schools & districts through:

• auditing mathematics curricula, assessments, and instructional systems for alignment to an equitable instructional vision;

• facilitating development of a shared mathematics instructional vision;

• leading targeted workshops for teachers, coaches, and leaders on a range of topics, including:

  • equitable mathematics instruction​;

  • topic- or curriculum-specific workshops;

  • math lesson- and unit-planning; 

  • scaffolding and differentiation in math;

  • making sense of new educational standards;

• providing ongoing coaching for teachers, coaches, and leaders with a focus on providing equitable, engaging mathematics instruction; 

• creating or managing the development of curricula, assessments, and tools for managing and supporting high-quality mathematics instruction.
